Where/ How can I buy a ticket?

Tickets can be either purchased online over this website, directly on the bus or at VIB-Vienna International Busterminal.

Are there any fare reductions?

Of course we offer special rates for children:
Children under 6 years travel free of charge, from 6-11,99 years reduced by 50%.

We also offer a special tariff condition to handicapped people respectively to their companions.


Furthermore, we repeatedly have promotional activities with special rates. Please note that these special offers are always related to very special terms and conditions.

How long before my departure I can book online?

Online you can purchase a ticket for the Air Liner at any time!

By online booking your ticket will be sent to the specified Email address. This may take up to 2 hours.
However please bear in mind that you still need an opportunity to print out your ticket, because only printed tickets are accepted and not in digital form (e.g. on the smartphone).
Please also pay attention not to fold your ticket at the position of the bar code.

Of course you also have the option to acquire a ticket at the VIB-Vienna International Busterminal or directly on the bus.

Which payment methods are available in the ticket shop?

For online booking we accept all current payment methods:



For online credit card payment, you must provide your credit card number, expiration date, name of the cardholder and the three digit security code. Your security code provides additional security for online payment and usually consists of the last three digits of the number on the back of the credit card. The security code is usually printed on the signature panel.

Our site secures your payment data with SSL encryption.
You can easily check whether the connection between your computer and the shop is secure: If the connection is secure, a padlock in the bottom right corner of the browser window (Internet Explorer and Firefox), the right of the address bar (Chrome) or right will appear top of the browser window (Safari).

How do I receive my ticket?

By online booking your ticket will be sent to the specified Email address. This may take up to 2 hours.

By purchase at VIB Vienna International Busterminal or directly on the bus your ticket will be issued immediately.

Do I have to print out my ticket?

Yes! Please print out your ticket because only paper tickets are accepted, and not in digital form (e.g. shown on the smartphone).

If you book online, your ticket will be sent to your specified email address (of not, please check your spam filter first).
Please take care when printing out that your ticket is good legible and not folded at the position of the bar code.

Will I receive an invoice?

The tickets of our webshop serve as invoices as defined by the Value-Added Tax Act (UStG). This naturally means that they permit pre-tax deduction, if applicable. All information required by the Section 11(9) of the Value-Added Tax Act (UStG) can be found on the ticket.

Can I reserve a special seat?

Unfortunately it is not possible to reserve seats, because despite a valid ticket there is also no claim to a seat at all.

In the Air-Liner there's free seat choice depending on availability.

Do I get call center information about still available seats?

No, sorry. Please note that our call center does not provide any information about available seats and courses.

The seats on our Air Liner-line will be awarded by free availability. If a course is fully booked, the customer is encouraged to choose the next one.

Can I also buy my ticket directly from the bus driver? (shortly before departure)

Yes, it is possible to buy a ticket directly on the bus, provided there are still places available.

Where can I get a last minute ticket?

For passengers who do not have a valid ticket shortly before departure, it is possible to purchase one at VIB-Vienna International Busterminal or directly on the bus, provided there are still seats available.

We highly recommend to buy your ticket on time, especially before the holiday season or public holidays.

Can I change my ticket?

A transfer to another day is possible, please contact one of our sales desks at the VIB-Vienna International Busterminal.

Special rate-tickets are excluded from changes.

Can I cancel my ticket?

Air Liner-tickets are NOT refundable.
Also a refund of the purchase-price is not possible.

BUT: Already purchased tickets can be exchanged free of charge to another travel date at the VIB-Vienna International Busterminal up to 24 hrs. prior to departure. Special tickets are excluded from exchanges.

Is my ticket transferable?

Yes, your Air Liner single-ticket is transferable and can be easily transferred to a third person!

However, this is NOT allowed for weekly or monthly tickets!

How many pieces of luggage may I take with me?

The luggage is usually limited to two suitcases (standard measures) and a hand luggage per person.

For losses or damages which are due to defective packaging, the carrier assumes no liability.
The transportation of bulky luggage cannot be guaranteed and has to be clarified on site with the driver.

Can I also take additional luggage?

Additional luggage will only be transported if there is enough space available and an extra fee may be charged.
It is the driver's decision if extra luggage can be carried, therefore the transport cannot be guaranteed.

What are the regulations for hand luggage?

Hand luggage is carried free of charge under responsibility of the passengers.
As hand luggage only handbags, small backpacks, laptops, etc. may be taken on board. It is not allowed bring big items into the passenger cabin, because they can block the emergency exits.

Please note: Blaguss Reisen GmbH doesn't take responsibility for burglary or damages on your luggage. So please pay attention to your hand luggage throughout the journey and do not leave your luggage unattended!

Is it possible to transport a stroller?

Yes, if the stroller is collapsible. The transportation is free of charge and you also don’t have to inform us in advance.

Please understand, that not collapsible strollers cannot be transported (limited space).

Can I also transport bulky luggage?

The transportation of bulky baggage such as surfboards, skis, bicycles, fragile or expensive items etc. depends on the available space and may therefore NOT be guaranteed. Please clarify the transport opportunity on site with your driver.
 

Carriage of children

Children under 6 years are transported only accompanied by an adult.

Are there special rates for children?

Of course we offer special rates for children:
Children under 6 years travel free of charge, from 6-11,99 years reduced by 50%.

Our children rates are also displayed during the booking process and can be selected by drop down menu (by switching from "adult" to "child").
 

Is it possible to transport a stroller?

Yes, if the stroller is collapsible. The transportation is free of charge and you also don’t have to inform us in advance.

Please understand, that not collapsible strollers cannot be transported (limited space).

May I bring my pet with me?
The carriage of pets is allowed!

Small undangerous animals have to be kept in suitable containers, and can only be transported without the harassment of other passengers.
The transportation occurs free of charge, the regulations about the transportation of hand luggage find use. Otherwise, the tariffs for luggage apply. The passenger is responsible for the observance of the veterinarian-police regulations.

Dogs are transported only when they wear a muzzle and are kept on a short leash. They may not be carried on seats. Please note: Guide dogs are excluded from the muzzle duty.

For the transport of a dog usually the half transport fee has to be paid. However guide dogs of blind passengers and small dogs that are worn or kept on the lap of their owner travel free of charge.
How long before the departure should I be there?

For passengers who are already in possession of a valid ticket, it is sufficient to appear immediately before departure at the Air Liner stop.

For passengers who do not have a valid ticket shortly before departure, it is possible to purchase one at VIB Vienna International Busterminal or directly on the bus, provided there are still seats available.

We recommend to buy your ticket on time, especially before the holiday season or public holidays.

Where do I have to show my ticket?

Please present your ticket or the printout of your ticket directly to the bus driver.

Please note, that your ticket has to be printed out because only paper tickets are accepted, and not in digital form (e.g. shown on the smartphone).

How do I find the right bus?

You can easily recognize our Air Liner-coach at its eye-catching bus design.

The departure stop at VIB bus station in Vienna is located on the Erdbergstraße, opposite the U3 underground station "Erdberg", marked as bus stop A.
The departure station at Vienna International Airport is located at the Busterminal 3, stop 9.

Can I also buy my ticket directly from the bus driver? (shortly before departure)

Yes, it is possible to buy a ticket directly on the bus, provided there are still places available.

Where can I get a last minute ticket?

For passengers who do not have a valid ticket shortly before departure, it is possible to purchase one at VIB-Vienna International Busterminal or directly on the bus, provided there are still seats available.

What if I have lost my ticket?

Please keep your ticket carefully because lost or stolen tickets are generally NOT replaced.
In case of lost you have to buy a new ticket at full price.

 

Is the Air-Liner coach equipped with air-conditioning?

Yes, the Airliner bus is air-conditioned!

Is it allowed to eat and drink on the bus?

In principle, it is permitted to consume small snacks and soft drinks.
However, please take care not to consume odorous food, so other passengers could feel disturbed.

The Air Liner-bus is a strictly non-smoking area!

Is it allowed to smoke on the bus?

Smoking is strictly prohibited, also the smoking of e-cigarettes.

Is the Air-Liner coach handicapped accessible?
Yes, the Air Liner-coach is handicapped accessible and has a wheelchair space. Nevertheless, this cannot be reserved and is usable according to free availability.
 
Are there benefits to people with disability certification?
For people with disability certification respectively for their companion we offer a special tariff condition:

Persons with reduced mobility need a valid ticket for their journey.
In case they have the notice "The owner/proprietor of the passport needs a companion" in their handicap pass, their companion travels free.

The authorization card has to be shown unsolicited to the bus driver.

Of course also guide dogs travel free of charge.

 

Are there seat belts on the bus?

Of course our Air Liner-bus is equipped with seat belts.

Are there also rest periods for bus drivers that must be adhered to?

Of course, the statutory rest periods are very important to us and are therefore always strictly complied and controlled.
So you can be sure that you always ride with a well-rested driver.

Are all bus drivers well educated and trained?

Of course. All of our bus drivers are fully trained and regularly take part in driving and safety training programs.

What maintenance measures does the Air-Liner undergo?

The Air-Liner coach and all its electronic devices are strictly checked and serviced regularly!
Of course all legal requirements are strictly adhered.

In case of emergency

Through continuous safety trainings our bus drivers are always up to date in terms of first aid and emergency procedures.
You can rely that in extreme situations they will act highly professional.

Of course, also the bus is equipped with the latest safety technologies.
